In Pam's own words! "Carl and I met through Laurie Gill and Renee Craft. Renee told him about me and gave him my phone number. In the meantime, Laurie told me about him and I okayed the number exchange. So, he called me first. We talked for quite a while. We agreed to go to dinner at East Side Mario's on Reynolds Road on December 28, 1998. On January 1, 1999, we walked around the neighborhood. We talked on the telephone several times. We double dated with Laurie and Bob. I think that was later in January 1999 or maybe February. We went bowling. Then we went to a baseball game in May. In June, I invited him to the Moose to celebrate my "A" in my Accounting class. At that point, Carl felt that all the pressure from everyone was off and he could just pursue this at his own pace. (Pam told me that night at the Moose was their first kiss!) Since the Moose, we have been together ever since. |
